  • Determination and design of mitigation means to increase structure's resistance to blast and fire emergencies, including design of structural retrofits and hardening of structure's layout
  • Specific security-oriented tasks, including security of vaults and documents storage in the event of blast or fire emergencies
  • Life cycle cost analysis of deployment of mitigation means that are provided to protect the institution's buildings and surroundings

USS software takes into account special features of the building structure as well as the protective measures taken such as construction of a protective wall of a certain height to protect it from blast effects. Life cycle costs of protective measures over various life cycle periods are estimated. The software models of the structure and blast effects can be used to take into account the effect of the protective measures on risk reduction in order to estimate reductions in insurance premiums.
